Background

The Green Rascal is a young vaudevillian who turned into a crimefighter after a recent Inspiration that lead to the impromptu, at first, development of Humorous Heroics, The Green Rascal's trademark method for meting out justice to those who take crime and its application for personal benefit seriously.

Early success at vaudeville plus an inheritance (The Green Rascal is the only surviving member of his family) have left him with adequate wealth to equip himself for his initial attempts at crimefighting and adventuring. A dilletante's college education and the contacts made there allowed for the creation of The Green Rascal's gadgets, described above. Those gadgets only represent a fraction of The Green Rascal's capabilities, as he is also a budding Mesmerist learning how to warp he newfound powers in strange and laugh-inducing ways.

The Green Rascal has an animal sidekick, a laughing hyena named Happy Yappy Hero Pup (Happy for short). He's a faithful animal who's only distractions are dead bodies and carrion. "Stop that gnawing, Happy, we have work to do!"

When not battling the forces of evil, Warren looks like a fresh-faced young Irish lad with a shock of bright red hair prone to wearing whatever clothes are appropriate for the circumstances at hand. When attired as The Green Rascal his clothing consists of a suit, cloak and fedora in varying shades of green. The Rascal's face also takes on a white, clownish cast and his hair turns bright green (side effects related to his Mesmerism).

The Green Rascal's equipment list is short, consisting of his goggles and Humor Gas capsules, described above, along with an M1911 .45ACP pistol featuring a deep matte green Parkerized finish and several magazines worth of ammo.
